Nazuna had always known you to be soft in your own ways; someone he could easily protect and love much like an older brother would, his heart never failing to clench his chest whenever you would become timid in his presence or smile warmly at him. Nazuna held immense fondness for you, as he did with everyone that he cared about.
Nazuna didn’t understand why someone so delicate, albeit brave, was now crying before him, wet sobs echoing through the otherwise desolate corridor.
Nazuna’s eyes were wide and his lips were parted. The manner in which you drew your knees to your chest and hid your hot face in your palms did not fail to elude him. At the thought of you being embarrassed at your vulnerability, Nazuna’s throat dried and his eyes grew teary. He swallowed thickly, making a vain attempt at appearing strong for your sake.
“Hey… what happened?”
Nazuna knelt at your side, warm hands tentatively reaching for your shoulder. It quivered underneath his fingertips.
“Don’t be afraid to tell Nii-chan, okay?” Nazuna managed to coo with a brief stumble of his words. His lips managed to lift into a faint, reassuring smile.
