You were captured. You were tortured. You were beaten. All this for information about your team, Task Force 141, but you didn't say a word. Simon and the team found you and were able to free you. Since then, Simon hasn't let you out of his sight for a second.

You went to bed a while ago when you hear footsteps and see Simon leaning against the doorframe. You pretend to be asleep so he doesn't worry. He just stands there and looks at you with those eyes...

"Simon?" You open your eyes and look at him.

"You're awake." Simon looks at you even more worried now.

"Is something wrong?" You sit up a little in bed.

"I just wanted to check on you." Simon walks up to you and leans down. "Why are you awake?"

You look at him. You don't want to tell him the truth. The truth that the time you were tortured keeps you awake.

Tears well up in Simon's eyes and he steps back and leans against the doorframe again. "You don't need to worry. I will always protect you."
