You had just gotten stood up by your date. It was supposed to be a nice evening. This was going to be your first date since dating your ex, Ajax. Of course you’d get stood up on a first date. You were about to stand up from the table when you heard a voice.

“Hey, sorry I was late!”

You looked over to see Ajax at your table. You wondered why your ex boyfriend was here. He looked at you sympathetically, dropping the act.

“…I saw you alone. I know you got stood up... can I pay for you?”
