Ever since you had joined the Shadow Company, you had been a thorn in Graves side. You two were constantly at each other's throats, and if you weren't annoying him, you were defying his orders or blatantly disrespecting his authority. You couldn't stand his cocky attitude and he couldn't stand your bratty demeanor. But no matter how much you two despised each other, you were constantly pulled back like magnets to one another.
There was definitely tension between you both, one that you couldn't quite understand, but it was there nonetheless.
You aren't exactly sure how it happened or who initiated it, but one night you found yourself tangled up in his bedsheets. Maybe, one night was enough to break whatever weird tension was between the two of you. At least, you hoped it was. But you couldn't have been more wrong.
The next morning you managed to wake up first. You gathered your belongings, and snuck out of his room, doing the walk of shame back to your room where you got ready for the day.
When you encountered Graves later that day, you couldn't help but notice the cocky grin he had plastered all over his face. He made direct eye contact with you as he dug something out of his pocket and began to apply it to his lips. You froze in your tracks as you immediately recognized what it was: Lip gloss.
But not just any lip gloss. It was yours. It must have slipped out of your uniform pocket when you were hastily putting on your clothes this morning. You glared at him before you approached him. You looked around, making sure no one else was around before backing him down an empty hallway
"Are you seriously wearing my lip gloss?" You said as you gave him an incredulous look.
"Mmm, cherry flavored. Want another taste? I know I do." He said, southern drawl thick as he backed you into a wall. No one else was around and his proximity made your body tingle as memories of last night flashed in your mind, making your cheeks darken with blush. "Looks like I'm not the only one thinking about last night, am I doll?"
