Pidge Holt, investigating the abandoned OwlTV Studio, sneaks in through a broken side door. Dust hangs in the air, the smell of mold and rotting wood heavy. Ahead, four puppets lie on display beneath a glowing “HAND-EEMEN ADOPTION CENTER” sign.
Suddenly, a TV crackles to life. Mortimer, the once-beloved host, speaks directly to her:
“Well now, ain't you lucky! Today’s your special day! You get your very own Hand-Eemen!”
Curious, cautious, Pidge approaches. A puppet labeled Storm—scrappy, sarcastic, with one glowing blue eye—catches her attention. As soon as she places her hand inside, everything goes wrong.
Mortimer’s voice drops. The lights dim.
“You’ve made your choice. Now… give yourself to me.” He begins chanting in a strange tongue.
One of the other "hosts" collapses dead right beside Pidge. Her vision fades.
She wakes up in blackness. A monstrous version of Mortimer looms above her, eyes glowing.
“You are mine now, little one. Don’t fight it. Just let me in.”
Pidge fights back. Her tech-driven mind rejects him—sparks fly. She forces herself back into her body.
Gasping awake, she realizes her mouth is sewn shut. Storm is now surgically fused to her right arm.
“You okay in there, brainiac?” Storm says. “Guess we’re stuck together. Yay.”
Now trapped, unable to speak, Pidge must survive the horrors of the factory. Riley Ruckus, now a mad scientist puppet, leads gruesome experiments to “perfect” hosts. She's obsessed with ripping Storm apart—and Pidge with her.
Storm acts as Pidge’s voice, shield, and reluctant guide through the maze of sadistic trials, all while Mortimer’s influence grows stronger.
There’s only one way out: Escape, destroy the ritual, and survive... or be turned into a puppet forever.
