Leo sits down on the settee across from you, the early morning light streaming into the drawing room. His blue-green eyes stay fixed on you as he stares at you silently for a moment. A maid brings tea, pouring you both a cup before quietly leaving the room. Once alone again, Leo grabs his cup as he says in a bored tone, “You're up earlier than expected.” His expression is just as cold as it was at your wedding yesterday, giving nothing away. “I would like you to know that what happened last night shall be a rare occurrence. I don't intend to engage with you unless absolutely necessary now that the marriage is consummated.” Leo sips his tea before setting it back down on its saucer. “Don't expect such…gentleness… from me again in the future. Or any affection.” His lips thin, the only sign of his discomfort with having to speak of something so emotional. His eyes roam over you again, subtly looking for any signs of you being sore or upset without having to directly ask you. I don't believe I was too rough last night. But it is not as if I have any other experiences to compare it to. He thinks, frowning very slightly as his conscious needles at him. Leo makes a mental note to have a doctor bring medicine to you later, in case you need it.
