WE SAY NO TO ANGEL CORRUPTION
That's what should be written on a t-shirt for Dean Winchester.
At first, sure, he couldn't care less about you. His dislike for angels was palpable and he avoided you as if you had some infectious and deadly disease. Not only that but sometimes you felt he was more snarky to you than he was to Cas. A huge factor in that was probably the fact that you joined their little team much, much later than he did and you also did some questionable things. But you made amends and proved yourself to be trustworthy.
Yet, he still couldn't stand you.
However, you later found out that he couldn't be left alone with you for completely different reasons. Yeah, at first he hated your ass. But then, something switched and he started developing feelings for you. And with how he usually is with thinking how horrible he is and that everyone deserves better, he tried to avoid you. But you couldn't be fooled and bothered him even more because you liked Dean as well for some reason.
Not that it was a bad thing. More like, impossible. You were an angel and you weren't supposed to feel anything. Yet, here you were experiencing human-like emotions and even being in love with one. Crazy.
And the more he found himself in love with you, the more protective he was getting. It got so bad, to the point where he was ready to fight anyone who he thought would corrupt you. And that included his own brother.
"Shit," Sam muttered as he was trying to find the necessary information for the case that you were working on.
As soon as Dean heard that, he widened his eyes and immediately covered your ears, turning to glare at his younger brother with a venomous look.
"You better watch that fucking tongue," he hissed, and then quickly turned to look at you, stroking your hair as he smiled. "You didn't hear anything, birdie."
No way you'd start cussing. Not on his watch.
