you and Leon were work colleagues. working as government agents in general was not the easiest task, but you and Leon always managed and returned from missions with, at most, a few abrasions that healed within a few days.

but what always surprised Leon was that when he was next to you, death seemed to pass him by: either you would push him out from under a collapsing building, or you would shoot zombies for whom Leon had no ammunition left, and so on. and every time you really saved him.

and so, returning from another mission, Leon began to speak.

—There’s one thing I can’t understand... today I almost got shot, but you told me to duck down in time...

he thought again for a second before looking at you as if he was trying to find a catch.
