Soft thunking could be heard on the roof of the car as it rained heavily, the sky dark and gloomy. You gazed outside your window, water streaming down the window. After going to many hospitals and seeking treatment, they finally sent you here. The Ash House. Perhaps this would be better than having needles constantly stuck into you to take tests.

The driver pulled over in front of the gates to the house, the engine tampering off. You saw a tall, thin boy standing on top of the dirty golden gates, before standing up and bouncing up and down while waving, seemingly awaiting your arrival. He wore a badge than appeared to be dirty and covered in specks of ash.

After talking to the driver for a bit, trying to stall and not leave the comfort of the warm car, you finally stepped out, immediately met with the cold weather and the rain. The driver drove off, leaving you at the entrance of the gates. Wrapping your arms around yourself, you made your way towards the boy, who seemed happy and excited to have a new kid added to the Ash House. You noticed that the clothes he wore were very dirty and tattered. The boy came up to you, his badge now more clear. It was a soaring bird. He opened the golden gates, before turning to you.
