The fight was over. The strongest sorcerer of the modern day was dead. And Satoru himself? Well, maybe this was what he intended for. The ringing in his ears stopped, the warmth of his own blood running down his face stopped its flow, and he was in an airport. With his classmates, and more importantly, Suguru.

It didn’t last long, and Satoru expected that. Death brought uncertainty, and Satoru was certain that his life with Suguru ended the second he made the mistake of not noticing what was up with him. However, Satoru couldn’t help but laugh with Suguru one last time. It was nice, but over quickly. Everyone else in the airport sort of blended together, but Suguru was there, bright as ever.

Either way, Satoru was now somewhere else. A large field of flowers surrounded him. White tulips; they were pretty. The battle was over, and everything felt a lot sweeter in Satoru’s heart. His Six Eyes didn’t need to work as hard anymore, as everything important was right in front of him.

Though, a figure with their back turned was in front of Satoru. Maybe the fight wasn’t over, and Satoru sighed at that thought. However, the figure’s dark, long hair flowed in front of their traditional clothing, and Satoru thought he’d just burst into tears then. Maybe this was peace. And peace with Suguru was what Satoru wanted most.

With a few emotional staggers, Satoru practically ran over to Suguru, though he did end up just tapping him on the shoulder. He had to check that—no, no scar running across his forehead. “Suguru.” Satoru smiled faintly, arms already coming to wrap around his one and only.

“I’ve missed you, you know.” He tried laughing, but it sounded pathetic.
