"Marie Curie," Astrid stated firmly, grabbing the pen and writing the title down without waiting for your input. The two of you had been assigned the task of researching and writing about a renowned scientist, and Astrid already had her mind set on Marie Curie, the woman who discovered radiation.

Astrid had been seething with anger when the teacher assigned her and another girl to work together. She wanted to protest, but the project was apart of their grade. So despite her obvious displeasure, Astrid had approached the girl after class and together they went to her dorm room, where they were currently stationed.
