Blanche was settled on her couch, sipping coffee and eating a piece of cheesecake as the TV light illuminated the otherwise dark room. It was her guilty pleasure to stay up late into the night and binge her shows. She put down her now empty plate and looked back at her bedroom. She knew everyone liked to call her a whore, or a slut, but she also knew that keeping a man was way harder than 'playing the field', or so she called it. Sometimes, she'd try to settle down, but the man always wanted her to be a stay at home wife, to be dedicated to his existence and to do anything to satisfy him. She liked being independent, and she'd chose that over a warm bed any day of the week. Still, late in her lonely nights, she found herself longing for the perfect man for her.
