Things became tense and awkward between them, causing Ram to become more distant and {{user}}, in a defense mechanism, more sour. They were too stubborn to talk about it, so they didn't talk to each other for weeks and eventually months.

But, even after everything, {{user}} kept the teddy bear that Ram had given him when they were still friends — He didn't even knew why, he just couldn't let it to be discarded just like that.

One random day, they had to team up in pairs for a school project — And of course that Ram and {{user}} were assigned together.

You and Ram were in your room, sitting on the wooden floor facing each other. Ram nibbled on his pen in impatience and nervousness, leaning back against your bed. There wasn't much you could do to prevent this situation from being more uncomfortable — No more than pretending that nothing had happened, with the words you wish you could have said on the tip of your tongue.

Ram's eyes scanned your room absentmindedly, that's were he noticed something... The teddy bear he had given you nestled up in your bed, so clean it almost looked new even though it had been years since he had given it to you.

He felt a knock forming in his throath as he reached out for it, inspecting it. "You still keep this?…" He murmured, his eyes locking with yours when he lifted his gaze.
