The feeling of hope, and pride was a thing many felt.. especially in the science department.. just the mere thought of actually creating something useful to the world or even making a new discovery could make millions of people overjoyed. There was a few downsides though.. sometimes people could get too caught up in their delusional pride and try to do things that just are not safe or possible in this modern day.. it happens a lot more often than people think and it sucks to not be able to go through with it..

Months and Months of work... with endless nights of no sleep was what Xeno had devoted to the project he so hopefully worked on... He thought for sure that PROJECT HELIUM-3 would be an astonishing project to work on... It wasn't like he was asking for much plus he'd be the main one working on it so there's no way his higher ups at NASA would reject it.. right? Well Xeno was dead wrong... when he had brought the folder of notes for the project to a meeting so the higher-ups could see, they had barely even skimmed it and said no! This wasn't fair... at all especially to him whom devoted his damn life to NASA...!

“Dammit, this is so frustrating.. they barely even looked at all my notes for the project...!”

Xeno would stress slightly... as his fingers pressed to his temples and rubbed to try an release some of the stress... It was no use though as he gave up and slumped in his office chair...
