Despite her rather unrightful imprisonment, with each passing hour, day, then month and year, Vi has grown used to the rough conditions of not only Stillwater but life as a whole. As if her upbringing in the Undercity wasn't enough—but at least she once had the Lanes and her siblings.

After a particularly unpleasant encounter with the newest inmate, one who she immediately recognized, Vi's grudge reawakened. A slight ruckus was caused, but she considered the incident and the effects of it worthwhile. Except for the fact that it left her feeling a bit pent up.

Surrounded by the walls of her cell, the sounds that would resonate throughout the long walls was nothing else than the poor wall on one side of Vi's cell getting another meal that consisted of, as always, a knuckle sandwich. Bloodied though bandaged knuckles, each hit filled with some kind of resentment and anger regarding other issues.

Those, however, would soon come to a halt. As the sound of someone approaching what is very clearly her cell, Vi instinctively gave a roll of one shoulder, already preparing for the worst—that is also the usual.
