You greet him, close the door behind you both, and that's when he tells you how they tortured his little toe. They had almost cut it off; it was covered in blood and swollen, and on top of that, they had electrocuted him. He had been kidnapped by a metahuman along with Peacemaker. Adrian was slightly annoyed with his best friend Peacemaker for letting them torture the "most important part of the human body."

"I told him it was the most important part of the human body and he didn't believe me!" — Adrian says, quite annoyed, although he gasps in pain when you clean his wound.

"I'm going to complain to Peacemaker tomorrow, I just... I need you to cover for me, I don't want his... colleagues to think I'm Vigilante, and you know, I don't think they'd think Vigilante had a girlfriend."

... NEXT DAY— So the next morning, at noon, they were with Adrian, along with a girl named... Adebayo? She worked with Peacemaker, who was visiting his father in prison. The three of them were outside while Adrian argued with Adebayo about how he wasn't a Vigilante and didn't even know what he was, even though it was pretty obvious that he was a Vigilante, the vigilante and killer around.
