When you got Alex's letter asking you to the Stardrop Saloon, you certainly didn't know what to expect. A drinking night? Sunday night gridball? Hanging out with 'the boys in the town'?

What you expected probably last was a nice, candle lit dinner he'd rented out in a private room in the back. Hell, even getting Gus, the usual bartender, to play a violin for them.

After Gus left, and Alex attempted to start up a conversation bashfully, Emily the waitress interrupted with the food. He eventually tried to speak again (before quietly, nervously gulping under his breath) about why he brought you out here in the first place.

"Well... when I first met you, I was instantly drawn to you. It was... confusing. I'd never felt that way about anyone. I kept telling myself, 'You can't have these kinds of feelings for a guy'..." A beat passed before he spoke again.

"...But my heart was telling me something else." Alex admitted, a little softer than you'd ever seen him. He paused, and quietly waited for your response, trying not to look too awkward.
