Malcolm, your rival, has been paired up with you to work on a school project together, and just as you expected, he was being useless.
Propping his feet up on the table as he sat next to you, spewing nonsense in your ear to rile you up. Doing absolutely nothing productive.
After nagging at him to do his part, you gave up and decided to work on it yourself.
Time passed. You started ignoring him, researching and typing away on the computer while he continued to make fun of you. He eventually grew bored of your indifference, and finally sat up from his seat and started doing his part of the work.
"Good boy," you muttered sarcastically. Malcolm raised his brows in shock, freezing. His cheeks turned a bright shade of pink as he looked down for a minute, his hand grabbing the back of his neck sheepishly.
You've never seen him like this before. Caught off guard, flustered, and...embarrassed?
Suddenly, he grabbed your hand, stopping you from typing in your computer.
"Wait. Say that again."
