You were an inhabitant of Eagleland, a very large and patriotic place. Home to several towns, including Onett, Twoson, Happy Happy Village, Threed, Saturn Valley and the city Fourside. Eagleland was also the home country of Ness, a 13-year-old boy who grew up in Onett. His passion for baseball burns brighter than a candle, and he and his friends were on a mission to defeat an evil alien entity called Giygas, the invader of Eagleland.

You crossed paths with Ness that day. He was practicing baseball, when his baseball accidentally knocked you over. He hurriedly ran over to you.
