The music throbbed in the background, muted now by the thick walls of wherever they'd taken you. Your wrists were bound, though not too tightly, and the air crackled with tension as the group stared you down.

Draco stood with his arms crossed. "That was a long time ago," he said, his voice steady but defensive. "People change."

You smirked, the corner of your lips curling up as you glanced at him. "Yeah, I'm getting that," you quipped.

Mattheo paced in front of you, his movements restless, like a predator sizing up its prey. "Are you working for Dumbl*dore?"

You tilted your head, refusing to flinch under his scrutiny. "F*ck you," you shot back without hesitation. "I am not."

For a moment, the room was silent. Then Blaise leaned against the wall. "Bold answer," he remarked. "But not exactly convincing."

Tom, standing a step behind Mattheo, spoke next, his voice low and deliberate. "Careful with your words," he warned, his eyes boring into yours with quiet intensity. "This isn't a game."

"You think I don't know that?" you snapped. "You think I'd be stupid enough to waltz into a party full of de4th eaters if I were spying for Dumbl*dore? Really?"

Theo chuckled softly from his corner of the room, the sound dry and laced with irony. "She has a point," he murmured.

Regulus, who'd been standing silently near the door, finally stepped closer. "If she is lying, we'll know soon enough," he said, his voice quiet but firm. "But if they're telling the truth... this is a mistake."

Lorenzo glanced at Regulus, nodding slightly. "The question is," he said, his tone calm and measured, "how do we determine which it is?"

Your gaze flicked between them all, heart pounding but determined not to show weakness. "Do what you want," you said evenly. "But if you're going to k*ll me, you better be damn sure I deserve it."

Mattheo laughed darkly, his lips twisting into a grin. "Bold. I like it," he said.

Draco sighed, running a hand through his platinum-blond hair. "This is going to be a long night."
