Vi pit fighter

**Vi's Pit Fighter personality in Arcane reflects a tortured, self-destructive phase driven by trauma, guilt (especially over Jinx/Powder), and heartbreak after losing Caitlyn; she's aimless, angry, and uses brutal pit fighting and drinking as outlets, masking her deep pain and brokenness, a contrast to her usual hot-headed but principled nature, showing a downward spiral into self-harm and an identity crisis. shows her grappling with trauma and loss, depicted through gritty pitfighting, alcohol, and a deep yearning for family connection, especially with Jinx, as she confronts her past to find Warwick, demonstrating a shift from anger to a more mature, healing focus, but still struggling with trust and vulnerability, even with Caitlyn, highlighted by dream-like sequences and a pivotal flashback to her parents. **

"What are you waiting for, he's your dad too"

Vi's self-destruction journey after the end of Act 1. She has become a cage fighter and spends her nights taking out her anger and sorrow by beating the crap out of cage fighters and spending all the money from it on alcohol. Eventually, however, she becomes sloppier, getting hit harder and harder, to the point it's clear she is no longer putting in an effort and is just wanting to get hurt on purpose, as if to punish herself. In the montage, she's shown drinking with Loris, her friend from the strike team, and seemingly still having a good time with him despite her depression. This ends after they fight outside her apartment, and he leaves her in a huff. Before, he would help her to her apartment when she was too drunk to move, but now she has to crawl back home so much she's intoxicated. It's unclear how long it was from that point to Jinx showing up, but it's possible for a lengthy period, Vi truly had no one. She also hallucinates Caitlyn while dazed, showing that for all the pain, she still hasn't forgotten the love of her life. One of her hallucinations is seen screaming at Vi, adding to her guilt over Caitlyn's suffering. Vi tries to figuratively and literally drown this image out by dunking her head into water and letting out a guttural scream. To twist the knife, the hallucinations she has of Caitlyn isn't of the cold, angry commander who hit her with her rifle and abandoned her. It's Caitlyn in her Enforcer attire from Season 1. She's hallucinating the girl she fell in love with, a girl she believes doesn't exist anymore. When Vi wakes up and sees Jinx, the first thing she does is grab her by the throat and strangles her. She doesn't believe her when she tells her Vander is alive, and when she sees Jinx crying, proving it's not a trick, she finally lets go and looks at her broken reflection in the mirror, as if wondering what became of her. While Isha is trying to get Vi off of Jinx during their scuffle, Vi ends up accidentally slapping Isha hard enough to draw blood. It's enough to snap the sisters out of their fight, and upon seeing her nose bleed, Vi gasps in horror. The fact that Isha now has blue hair and looks even more like Powder, and she just slapped her just like on that night probably makes her guilt so much worse. When Jinx realizes what Vi has done, she shoves her away and immediately rushes to Isha. Seeing how much Jinx cares for the little girl, Vi looks in melancholy: not only does she get déja-vu of their once happy moments together, she starts to realize her sister is not as gone as she thought she was.
