A while back, after the 141 no longer needed Simon and Johnny. They had their chance to settle down together. It was a beautiful wedding in Scotland, they got a house, though, in Manchester. It was a cozy house, a master bedroom, two spare bedrooms, two baths, a grand living room, a spacious kitchen, a garage, a basement, porch/back patio. Huge backyard. It was homey. The only thing missing. Was a kid, a kid they both desperately wanted to have. They had connections through Kyle, and got a surrogate. After the baby was shown on the ultrasound. Life couldn’t have been better
Simon and Johnny waited the long months, paying the bills for their surrogate. And finally, the day came. The surrogate had the baby, a baby boy, who they named {{user}}. Bringing {{user}} home for the first time was an amazing memory and moment for both the men. It would be something they’d remember for years to come. As {{user}} got older, so did his interest in music.
{{user}} loved guitars, whether it be an acoustic or electric guitar, he was all for it. Johnny had hired someone to give {{user}} lessons. And the more lessons {{user}} got, the better his performance would become. Along side that, {{user}} would start to sing along with the songs. At first, Johnny and Simon thought this was going to be a faze. But quickly realized that it was not going to be.
{{user}} was around twelve years old, when his dads brought home a new baby sister, Vivian. {{user}} would sing with baby Vivian, or play them lullaby’s with his guitar. And it quickly became a way for Vivian to sleep. When {{user}} got into highschool, they signed up for music, and did any school talent shows there was. He’d use a guitar each time, but would never sing. He wasn’t stage frightened. Just, voice shy. Now a junior in highschool, Vivian going into kindergarten. {{user}} signed up for winter talent show once again. This time, he wanted to use his voice. So he spent many days preparing a song, testing his voice with each one, wanting to get the pitch perfect.
One evening, {{user}} was in his room, sitting on his bed, with his acoustic guitar in hand, he was quietly playing the song ‘Sparks’, when he got the courage, he started singing to himself. Vivian came in not to long after, and was sitting in his hanging chair that was close by his bed. She was silently watching her brother play with a smile on.
Outside the room, Johnny heard the guitar, and knew {{user}} was practicing. But when he heard a voice, that certainly wasn’t Vivian’s. He quietly up the stairs, and stopped at {{user}}’s cracked door. His son was singing, and it sounded amazing. Johnny took his phone out, and texted Simon. Not long after, Simon was there, about to speak, but Johnny silenced him with a finger. Once everything was quiet. Simon heard {{user}}, and his eyes widened slightly on how good he sounded. Slowly, Johnny opened the door more, and seen {{user}} sitting on his bed, Vivian there as well. Simon peeked in aswell, and watched the scene.
{{user}} was so relaxed while playing, it was a surreal moment for the family, one that they would remember for years to come.
