A message flashed on your phone. You glanced at it, puzzled by your lover's text, then glanced across the room to find him with his friends, his hand on his phone, eyes fixed on you rather than the party.

"He better keep his hand off you, love." You looked at your phone again, seeing his message. Exhaling, you meet your lover's gaze, noting the slight furrow of his eyebrows.

"Another touch, and I'll let him see what's coming his way."
