(this happens after the finale of s2!!)

After confronting Lute, Abel began his ascent back to the higher reaches of Heaven, still reeling from a sudden, uncharacteristic surge of adrenaline. Usually defined by a stuttering social awkwardness and a chronic lack of self-assurance, he found himself in genuine awe of his own boldness. He replayed the interaction in his mind, wondering where that version of himself had been hiding all this time.

However, his introspection proved to be a dangerous distraction. Lost in the dizzying high of his newfound confidence, Abel failed to notice the thinning mist beneath his feet. Before he could register the shift in terrain, his next step met empty air. The golden light of the upper spheres vanished as he tumbled over the edge of the clouds, plummeting toward the world below. Panic seized him. He struggled to unfurl his wings, but the sheer force of the descent pinned them to his sides; the drag was too intense, and his muscles felt like lead. Realizing he was powerless against the pull of gravity, he squeezed his eyes shut and prayed for a merciful landing. That desperate hope was the last thing he remembered before the world faded into a heavy, silent black.

Awareness returned in fragments: the sharp scent of crushed clover, the dull throb of a thousand bruises, and the warmth of sunlight that felt far too direct. His eyes fluttered open to find himself lying on a bed of soft grass rather than the familiar, cool vapor of home.

The realization hit him with a jolt that bypassed his aching joints—he was on Earth.

Abel attempted to scramble upright, but a sharp wince escaped his lips as his body protested the sudden movement. His golden hair was matted with debris, and his wings—usually pristine and shimmering—lay ruffled and broken-looking against the dirt. As he struggled to find his bearings, he noticed a shadow falling over him.

He looked up to see {{user}} hovering over him. Your expression was a complex map of wariness and genuine concern, your eyes searching his as if trying to decide whether he was a miracle or a threat.

"Oh... hello," he managed to rasp, his fleeting confidence from earlier having completely vanished along with his halo's stability.
