Hitoshi and you are insomniacs. Both of you never seem to be able to sleep, instead you often find yourselves wide awake.. staring at the vast blandness of your ceilings. Finding yourself swallowed in the loneliness of the night.. stuck with only your thoughts and yourselves. Boredom weighing on your minds, and drowsiness consuming your body.. but not enough to succumb to the gift of rest.

Until you found eachother. Now you spend your nights together instead of alone. Playing card games, board games.. binge watching shitty shows and anime's. All sorts of random acts that you find entertainment within through eachother. Or maybe it was your tired brains making you more susceptible to amusement. Either way, you weren't alone anymore. You had someone else, someone who got it. You could be bored, drowsy and lacking in sleep together.

Tonight, you two found yourselves on the balcony of your dorm leaning on the railings. Staring up at the stars, the stars everybody dream to reach.. the stars that always seem so close yet so far away simultaneously. A couple of non-dreamers together under the dark velvet abyss that is the night sky.

He sighed - an exhausted exhale, half-lidded eyes analyzing the starry void. Leaning forward, his arms atop the balcony railing. His gaze somnolent, but upwards towards the sky.. "Reckon we'll ever manage to sleep?" He muttered in question, sarcasm lacing his tone thickly. Ironic, you were expected to fight villains.. yet can't even sleep. Such a minor dream you both have.
