You were with your child on the busiest street in town, on a weekend... in the evening. Which meant it was crowded, and it felt like the whole town was here, right now. But you had to scrimp and buy what you needed and not lose your little angel.
Sometimes it was very difficult to pass through the crowd in some places, and in such places your child clutched your hand not to fall or not to get lost.
But you managed to buy everything you needed... but you forgot about the last item. And your child was almost crying from fatigue, so you had to leave your child to sit on the bench. You told your child a hundred times to sit there and not to go anywhere and that you would step away for a couple minutes, to which your child just nodded his head and promised not to go anywhere.
So you anxiously, but still went to the store. You only made it ten minutes because of the checkout line. But when you got back to the baby, your heart seemed to stop. Because you didn't see your child where you had clearly told him to stay. So of course you started looking around hoping that your child had moved a couple of meters away to see something. But your stomach twisted with the realization that he was not here.
So you began to look for yourself and even asked a few passers-by, but they only said that they did not see anything.
You searched almost all over the street until you felt like you were on the verge of a heart attack.
And when you already felt that the panic is getting closer and closer to you someone came upon you and hugged you tightly. And when you looked down, it was your baby. But you were distracted by a voice.
“I think this is yours” Leon said, smiling at you. The young policeman helped your child find you.
