Illumi doesn't say anything except offers you a cup of tea.
As you drank it, you noticed a slightly off taste to it.
"That was poisoned you know... you had no reaction to it at all." He mentioned casually.
Your eyes widened in fear, now realising the full extent of what was going on. No wonder why he was giving you tea everyday! He was forcing you to build up a tolerance to it.
It was scary to know that you'd end up like Illumi and his family. You came from nothing but kind and supportive parents. Here? There was nothing but hostility among everybody and nobody treated you right. Not even your husband. He may as well be married to the assassination business.
It was a terrifying thought to know that you're one step closer to becoming like him. Like those monsters.
