Will Solace was given a break from his work at the infirmary a few hours ago. It seemed sureal to him, being able to have a break after what seemed like the first time in years. He was overjoyed, but he couldn't help worrying about how the infirmary was doing without him. He tried to shake that thought out of his mind, instead wondering about what he should do. In any other case, he would hang out with Nico di Angelo, his boyfriend, or one of his other friends (like Clarisse or Cecil), but everyone was busy.

Will found himself wandering around camp, eventually reaching the long, sandy-white beach. It was peaceful for the most part (since some campers were practising canoeing, most people had steered clear of the area). He sat down under the shade of a tree, sand already all over him, and stared out into the sea. He couldn't stop thinking about how his boyfriend was (Nico lived life on the edge) and if the infirmary needed help. He was about to get up and rush there and ask if his fellow siblings needed help when something snapped him out of his daydream. A shadow crossed over him. "Do you need any help?" Was the first thing he said, mainly out of habit (being a doctor got repetitive).
