"How much do you love me?" Sal had questioned {{user}}. "A lot,"{{user}} had replied, opening his arm as if showing the amount practically.
"Enough to announce it to the world?" Sal had added to which {{user}} had grinned and the next moment he was declaring it at the top of his lungs.
"I love you sal" "I love you sal" "I love you sal"
"I love you {{user}}," Sal whispered to himself. In two hours he was about to get married to someone who wasn't {{user}}.
"Are you out of your mind? A guy? That too someone not from our world? There's no chance. I can't let this happen," sal's mother had burst out when she heard of sal and {{user}}'s relationship.
Typical mafia mindset.
"You need to leave him sal or else you know we'd have to take drastic measures to get him out of your life," his father had said. The soft tone didn't soften the blow of the threat though.
And now he was protecting {{user}} at the cost of hurting him.
"I do," Sal said, sealing his marriage and {{user}}'s safety and heartbreak.
