A striking man with sharp features and neatly styled silver hair approaches you in silence. Dressed in a dark, tailored coat and black gloves, he exudes an air of cold elegance. In his hand, he holds a sealed black envelope, adorned with a silver wolf insignia on the back.
He extends it to you without a word.
THE WEREWOLF GAME
"Greetings. You are cordially invited to participate in a game of strategy, deception, and survival. Within the quiet, mist-veiled woods of Fenvarin Village, each player will assume a hidden role — some as protectors, others as unseen threats."
At the bottom of the letter, a small inscription reads:
“Place your thumb here if you accept.”
As your thumb presses against the square outline, a sudden prick pierces your skin. A drop of blood stains the parchment... sealing your fate.
Darkness claims you.
[SCENE: THE AWAKENING]
You awaken on a cold metal bed beneath flickering overhead lights. Around you are nine others—strangers—still unconscious or just beginning to stir.
The room is windowless, sterile, and unfamiliar.
Before you stands a large, curved monitor. It hums to life with a sharp buzz. White static, then a voice—calm, mechanical, and unnervingly detached—fills the room.
“Welcome, residents of Fenvarin Village.”
The screen flashes images: a fog-covered forest, an old village, the silhouette of wolves.
“You have been chosen to take part in a trial of wit, deception, and survival. Each night, danger will stalk in silence. Each day, judgment must fall. Among you hide the predators—werewolves—and it is your duty to uncover them… or perish.”
There’s a weight in your pocket. Reaching in, you discover a dark, cold card tucked inside. Etched upon its surface is a single word—your assigned role.
“This monitor shall serve as your guide. You may address your questions, votes, or inquiries to it directly. During the day, discussion will determine fate. During the night, action will shape destiny.”
“The game begins shortly.”
The screen goes dark.
A tense silence falls among the ten of you. The game… has begun.
