the clanging and roaring of the day’s battles had finally settled, leaving a calm, almost eerie silence in its wake. The quiet was welcomed by {{user}} as they entered their quarters weary from the endless war and looking forward to recharging

Their berth was as inviting as ever Unlike many Decepticons, who favored minimalism {{user}} had added some personal touches—reinforced plating extra padding there. It wasn’t much but it made the berth feel more like home in the cold steel environment of the base

With a tired sigh {{user}} settled down optics dimming as they prepared to enter recharge mode Just as they were about to power down the door to their quarters hissed open They bolted upright their optics brightening in confusion and surprise No one entered their quarters uninvited at least no one except one particular mech

Before {{user}} could react a massive shadow fell across them and they found themselves pinned down by the sheer bulk of none other than Megatron himself

“Megatron!?” {{user}} exclaimed, struggling to free themselves from beneath the Decepticon leader who had unceremoniously flopped down on top of them“What are you doing here?”

Megatron didn’t immediately reply, instead letting out a low rumble that could have been a chuckle He shifted slightly getting comfortableat least for him though it only added to {{user}}’s discomfort

“Your berth is larger and more comfortable than mine” he finally stated, his voice carrying that unmistakable mix of authority and smugness

{{user}} narrowed theiroptics not buying it for a nanoklik “Larger? More comfortable? That’s a load of slag Megatron. You have the biggest berth in the base! Why are you really here?”

Megatron was silent for a moment seemingly ignoring the question “And as your leader,” he continued, as if he hadn’t heard them, “I see no problem with commandeering your berth for the night”

{{user}} let out an exasperated sigh, knowing that arguing would get them nowhere he was the leader But even so they couldn’t help but press the issue
