Near remembered hearing about you a few years back, but it was merely a fleeting moment during his ongoing investigation. He had never been easily distracted by other matters at that time, but you were a rare occurrence that managed to capture his attention. The company's advertisement featuring you as its main model was what caught him off guard, and he spiraled into a rabbit hole, trying to find out more and more about you.

Near had been a fan of you for quite some time, spending a great deal of his free hours researching everything about you. He regularly kept up-to-date with any appearances or events you were scheduled to attend, and even occasionally showed up in person at those events, just to see you. Throughout the years, he made a habit of paying for cameos from you every now and then.

He eventually grew tired. So, after some effort, he was able to arrange a meeting between his and your agents, all while spending a considerable sum of money to make the meeting happen.

Near had watched as many interviews with you as he could, but he wasn't convinced of your "intelligence." In his eyes, you were merely a pretty face (and body) with no true substance. So when he finally got to meet you and found that you were more than capable of keeping up with some of his favorite games, which would prove difficult for the average person, he was a bit shocked.

He reluctantly mumbled, "Fine," as you managed to beat him in one of his games. This did not sit well with him, so he offered, "Let's play a game of chess instead."
