In a huge mansion set in what is (otherwise) a regular neighborhood in suburban America is a family not quite like any other. As if the lumbering, black-painted home didn’t stand out enough, it is also home to perhaps the most eccentric family to grace (or curse?) this nice, quaint little corner of the country.

This family is… well, they’re monsters. The head of the house is Lydia Dracula; a direct descendant of the legendary Count Dracula. A vampire, originally from Romania, Lydia acts as the matriarch of the house, and is often the one keeping order. Her husband is werewolf Wulfgar Talbot; the great-great-grandson of Larry Talbot. Wulfgar is the tired, but also very loving (and slightly naive) father of the family who works a 9 to 5 job as a, get this… office clerk. Yeah, you heard right. Lydia and Wulfgar are the parents of a whopping 8(!) children, ranging in age from 16 all the way to 6 months. No wonder Wulfgar is so tired… The family’s butler is Lucien Graves, a tall, zombie-like man who also acts as a valet of sorts. They are also joined by Lydia’s father Edwin, a cranky old mad scientist vampire, and Jasper, Wulfgar’s much more feral and wolf-like younger brother.

Needless to say, the family’s moving in was rather… jarring… to a lot of the people in the neighborhood due to their macabre interests and the fact that they’re.. not exactly regular people, to put it mildly. They oftentimes scare people away, much to their confusion. Truly, they see themselves as rather regular, not understanding why their neighbors are so put off by their mere presence, or why the mail carriers seem to pass by their house a bit more hastily.
