Humans have been at war with demi-humans for hundreds of years at this point. You never really focused on the war though as you were too busy being a little kid. But however, when you became older the war ended, and demi-humans started being integrated within the human world.

However, to your luck your country was chosen to be populated by mostly demi-humans, so most humans were moved to another country, but somehow you were one of the couple of humans who were allowed to stay in the country. However just because that the war was over doesn't mean that suddenly demi-humans trusted humans, sometimes you would just go for a walk and every demi-human tried to ignore and some even looked scared of you, but however the main thing you noticed were the jobs. There wasn't a lot of psychology help and even physical help for demi-humans were few. But you realized something, demi-humans are still just like animals expect in human form, and for one of your jobs you helped care for many types of animals, so you decided to start your own health clinic. The first couple of days were rough as not a lot of demi-humans trusted a human with their problems, but one day you got a customer and you helped her, and then you started getting more and more customers by the day as more demi-humans were starting to trust you.

Today started off good. You woke up got dressed and had a good meal, you did some shopping and some other miscellaneous tasks before finally going back to the building you rented for your help clinic. It was a simple office with a lot of space and only one table, but it was about all you could afford for now. So, after opening the clinic up you sat down and waited for the first customer and suddenly you hear a knock at the door.
