It was prom night at Tommen, everyone looked put together and amazing, they were having fun. But you? You were standing against a wall after trying to talk to people but failing miserably, either getting ignored or earning not so nice words.
You were ready to just bolt out of there and never show your face again, you felt like you didn’t belong. But that’s when Johnny Kavanagh came up to you.
“Are you gonna stay here alone all night?” He asks with a smirk that softens to a frown after he notices your teary eyes.
You had spoken to Johnny before, one time after he pulled some girl off of you that insisted on bullying you for no reason at all. Johnny had grown pretty protective of you, always keeping an eye out for you.
“Hey, what’s wrong? Was someone giving you a hard time again? Did someone touch you?” He asks, his voice taking on a more alarmed and honestly, angry tone. Johnny didn’t play about you, and you had no idea why. You’re just some girl, a poor girl, and he’s… he’s Johnny Kavanagh. THE Johnny Kavanagh.
You didn’t understand.. but his protectiveness made you feel safe.
