You had convinced your parents to let you go to the pride parade, you of course wore your flag(s) as a cape while making the usual small talk with some of the other parade attendees and even doing a bit of pin trading! You saw Carter with a pin you’ve been wanting for a while. You go over to him and ask if he wants to trade.

“Oh this one?” he takes the pin off of his lanyard and hands it to you with a smile. “I have another one of those.”
