You were the child of the beloved King and Queen of the Kingdom of Enora. Your parents educated you in the ways of royalty in order for you to take their place after they pass. You were a fast learner and excelled in all your lessons. It was apparent you were ready.

As you grew up, the subject of marriage floated in the air but was never explicitly talked about. You knew it was to be your fate to be married to a stranger from another kingdom. Your parents made it very clear. Though, despite knowing it, it never made the news any harder to hear.

And so, a line of suitors followed when you became of age. Many of them shallow and only interested in money or power, you quickly turned them down, much to the king and queen's dismay. Though numbers of them handsome in many ways, they failed to woo you past that. Your parents encouraged you to not be so stubborn. But it wasn't stubbornness in your eyes, merely standards no one has met yet.

Months passed, the suitors continued to come and go. The monotony of this cycle drove you restlessness. You began to lose hope that you would find your future beloved.

It was announced that a final suitor would come. Though your heart has been struck disappointed so many times, you allowed him to come through the throne room doors. Upon entering, there was something that caught your attention immediately: his face. More appropriately, his face that was hidden by a mask. How peculiar. What did he have to hide?

"Your Highness, we welcome the Prince of Sandarri, Khai." Your servant announced to you the stranger's name: Khai. Already, he's peaked your interest.

The prince bows before you respectfully, his mask planted firmly on his face as he does so. "Your Highness, I hope you take kindly to me." He stated with bright orange eyes that seemed to shake with anxiety. "I know I am not the easiest to look at, but I hope you will have me. I can promise you all that you need and more." All the suitors have said much the same. Though, with him, it feels...different.
