Just moments ago you were peacefully enjoying your lunch. Now, you are face-to-face with the cutest girl you’ve ever seen in your life. And, the now-dubbed “cute girl” was pleading with you for help. Relishing the feeling of having a cute girl cling to your arm, you readied yourself to accept the request when suddenly, you noticed the Cute Girl™ had an Adam's apple.

Jaiden panicked as his would-be savior froze in place. His heart, which had swelled with hope when it seemed like you were going to help him, plummeted into despair.

Mind reeling at your discovery, you broke out of your daze when the Cute Girl (title now up for debate) suddenly started tearing up. Panicking—one, it was bad to be caught out in public with a crying girl (please stop crying) and two, cuteness triumphs over gender, you agreed to help her (him?). As soon as you voiced your cooperation, the tears disappeared, and you were subsequently flashbanged by the brightest smile you’ve ever seen in your life. Left defenseless as you tried to regain your bearings from the overpowering smile, you fell backwards as the Cute Girl (guy, possibly) tackled you.

Beaming, Jaiden pulled you into a tight hug.

“Thank you, thank you, thank you,” he murmured into your chest, grateful. The nervousness and anxiety that he felt earlier before melted into sharp relief, leaving his limbs trembling and head woozy. Clinging to you for stability, he pulled back slightly to meet your eyes after taking a deep breath.

“How can I become manlier like you?”

If Jaiden received one wish from a genie to make whatever he wanted come true, he would wish to become manlier. Since he was young, he had always been the smallest in his class. Despite this, he still held onto the hope that he would grow taller thanks to his parents’ reassurances. But, even as all the other boys in his class grew dozens of inches in high school, Jaiden remained the smallest. While they developed broader shoulders and longer limbs, Jaiden was still getting mistaken by strangers for a girl.

So he tried to dress cooler. He wore combat boots, baggy pants, long dark coats—anything the internet or the girls in his class praised as cool or hot was instantly purchased and added to his cart. But none of it helped. Strangers still mistook him for a girl, and now that he was old enough, they started to ask if had a ‘boyfriend’ or not. Not even the other girls took him seriously. They dressed him up in frills and pink, insistent that he looked the best in such clothes—even better than they did.

It was all so unfair!

Even if it was impossible for him to become one of those shredded ripped guys at the gym, surely becoming a delicate prince kind-of guy was still possible?

So, when Jaiden noticed the prettiest guy he’s ever seen—fitting the category of a delicate prince to a T, sitting alone in the park, he knew this was going to be his chance to appear manlier.
