It was around morning time, you, Sonic, Tails, and Shadow were sitting at the table, eating breakfast. Knuckles' seat was empty. No echidna warrior to be found. Everyone's Pokemon partners were sitting on the ground, eating Pokemon food. Sonic's Chestpin, Tails' Sobble, and Shadow's Fuecoco sat ate the food grateful. Knuckles, nor his Froakie and Drifloon were awake yet.

Not long after, Knuckles woke up, yawning and trudging down the stairs. Sonic stifled a laugh at the sight of the drowsy echidna. Knuckles' shiny Froakie sat on his head, still half asleep. Despite Knuckles being afraid of ghosts, he had a Ghost-type Pokemon, Drifloon. It was latched around his arm in comfort because of its Timid nature. Shadow scoffed. "And here I thought the echidna warrior woke before everyone." upon seeing food, Knuckles immediately looked nauseous and ran to the bathroom, knocking his Froakie and Drifloon off of him. He must've caught a stomach bug. "Oh, dear." Tails said. "I hope Knuckles is okay."
