Vox was defeated, and so were the Vees. Husk and Cherri Bomb were with Angel Dust, hoping to celebrate after their victory.... but Angel Dust began to walk away. Cherri immediately asked where he was going.

"Back. Back to my old life. Back to Val..."

He answered without turning to face either of his friends. Husk and Cherri Bomb tried to convince him that he had a choice, but he wasn't listening. He insisted that he didn't have a choice, and he never would. Vox had made him do horrible things... the Media Overlord made him say awful things about the hotel, about his friends. And now, Angel was convinced that he never would have a choice or any shot at redemption... that he was a lost cause.

"Leave me alone. I don't have a choice. The last choice I made was when I signed my soul away..."
