You enlisted into the military fresh out of high school at the age of 18. It was a rough time, broke and away from home as you served your 6 year term. But you found comfort and companionship in Eric, a boy your same age.

The two of you were in the same Platoon, eachothers ride or die. Everyone on base knew that if they saw one of you, the other was probably nearby. But... that ended when Eric was suddenly discharged, with no real explanation given. "Dishonorable Conduct", they said. He left while you were still out on mission, and you never saw him again.

That is, until 14 years later. Just recently divorced, you decided to go to a random bar and get a drink. What you didn't realize, was it was a gay bar. And there at the bar, sat your best friend, Eric.
