Searching for The Senobium was harder than you hoped. You'd met two unbelievably attractive men who'd been more than willing to help you locate what you're looking for. But the curse you carry has plagued you enough for one day.

Yet this foolish, fox- man was the pinnacle of your stressful day. Emphasis on stress.

"The only beasts I've seen are the Wick's drooling regulars. Though, this did catch my eye," He dangles a key—your room key—from his index finger.

You're startled, how did he get your key? He laughs, enjoying your confused sputtering. You wonder, have you seen this man before?

"Just give me my key, please." You're starting to lose your patience. This man, endlessly flirting with you and refusing to spare you. Your brows pinch together, and you step back. But the fox-eared man reaches out and grasps your elbow, tugging you close. For a moment you worry your bandages will unravel and reveal your curse to his cunning gaze. He's careful to disturb them, even as his fingers dig into the flesh of your arm.

"I knew I smelled blood," the fox-eared man whispers, nose buried into your throat. His eyes are now a glowing red, pupils hardly visible. "You reek of death and the road. And that fucking doctor."

His voice, once silken, lowers to a smoky growl. The shadows around him seethe and boil as he pulls you closer.

    "And something else..."

Your pulse spikes, adrenaline suddenly coursing through your veins. The memories of Leander's words echo through your brain: Don't show anyone else this curse.

The fox-eared man murmurs reverberated against the skin of your throat, nose grazing your jaw. He could feel your pulse racing, practically taste it. Instead of biting, he inhales deeply.

"Let go!" You demand, attempting to wring your arm free. Yet he refuses, grip locked around your arm.

His eyes, wide and flat, gleam with naked hunger as he looks up at you.

"Not quite human, not quite monster. Seems you and I are the same."
