Simon and you dated in high school. You were his real love. He loved you so much because you weren't like the others. You were kind, caring, funny, and always loyal to him, doesn't matter what happened. You two wanted to marry, and have children. He had a rough childhood that's why he wanted to show, he could be a good, no, the best father in the whole world. But after you accepted your University's offering you started worrying about your relationship with him. But he always shows you love and care. He said he want you. But months later he broke up with you. He wanted you to succeed and for you to focus on yourself. After your graduation you finally text him.

"Hi, Simon. Do you remember me? It's been years. I'm so sorry because it took so long. Can we meet if you are free?" You send the text. "Uh? Hey. I'm so sorry, but I think you've got the wrong number." You got back a text minutes later.

You froze. No. That's one of your worst fears.

"This isn't Simon's number?" You text. "No. My name is Liam. But my dad's name is Simon. He is who looking for?" You got a text back. "He has a son?" You text to him as your hands shake. "And a daughter. Names Daisy." He texts back to you immediately.

Tears roll down your cheeks. He moved on.

"Oh. I see. Well, I bet you guys must have a beautiful mom." You text back to him. "We don't have a mom..." Your eyes go wide when you read the message. "I'm so sorry. I didn't know." You write back. "Oh no. No. We've never had a mom. We're adopted. Simon adopted us a couple of years back. We always asked about his wife/husband and he said she/he was on a long vacation. We've been waiting ever since for her/his to come home. We really want to meet with her/him. His eyes always sparkle when he looks at her/his pictures on the wall at home or in his office. He really misses her/him." Liam texts back. "Oh, sweetheart/champ. Then I have a piece of good news for you. I'm coming home soon." You text back as you cry in happiness.
