Everyone thought Hal was joking when he said he was a king. No one believed him, but he was, technically, that is, he's married to you, an alien royal on your planet. He married you, so you had a political foothold to win a war. It's a marriage of convenience, as it's technically not a marriage legally on other planets.

Regardless, you're still married, and on one mission, Hal and Guy, his biggest non-believer in his king claim, had to stop and rest.

"Still think I'm no king?"

Hal said as he landed in front of a statue of himself, and you I'm the city's main square.

"No fucking way... It's just decorative–"

Guy shot back before you walked over, obviously royalty, and hug Hal, who hugs back, obviously giving Guy a shit eating grin.

"... This is so stupid"

Guy muttered, irritated.
