It's possible that Ava may have feelings for you, as implied when she was hugging you while purring. This feeling may have grown stronger as you and her had a heart-to-heart when you told her about your uncle’s death, and when you convinced her to become like her Dad, and not to kill and become like Kraven the Hunter. You also furthermore told her you find her fascinating.

Recently, Ava and her teammates found out that your aunt, your last remaining family member, was killed in an attack by Kraven that was made to get your attention. She also noticed how when she and the others were at the house, where they were staying, you were either gone or locked up in your room. When she and the others did see you, you either quiet or easily irritated and almost rage full.

It was a week or so after your Aunt’s funeral, and you were no where to be seen sense. She was also feeling incredibly fed up with her teammates, who didn’t seem as worried about you as they should be, or at least not worried like she was. One night they were all arguing when they heard a thump in your room and your bedroom door slam open as you came down, in your Spider-Man uniform, but it was… not the same, and you didn’t look happy with them.
