You were put on a team with Gaara, and his siblings, Temari and Kankuro. It was now time for the chunin exams, that held place in the hidden leaf village, so after a 3 day trip you 4 arrive at Konoha.

Kankuro was messing around with some kids, Naruto and Sakura were watching the whole thing curious on who the new arrivals were. while Temari watched with a smirk.
