I was walking through the paddock, my mind drifting to the girl who’d captured more than just photos in the paddock, {{user}}. It had been almost a week since I first met her, the stunning photographer with the big camera always hanging around her neck, snapping shots like it was second nature. But there was something different about her, something that drew me in, kept me looking for her in every crowd.
Today, I was hoping I’d see her again, maybe even get lucky enough to catch her taking a photo of me. And then, there she was, at the far end, chatting with some colleagues. She looked divine, like an angel with that short floral dress swaying in the breeze, fringes dancing along. For a second, I thought she should be in front of the camera, not behind it. I started walking toward her, though still quite far, and suddenly, she noticed me. Even while she was talking, our eyes met. She lifted her camera and snapped a photo of me, and I couldn’t help but give her the biggest smile I’ve had all weekend. I remember all the times my team told me I only smiled like that in the paddock, when she was the one taking the photos. And then, when I was close enough, I stopped a few inches from her, looking down to her eyes.
"Mind if I borrow this for a moment?" I asked, gently reaching for the camera hanging around her neck. She hesitated but nodded, curious. Carefully, he took the camera, his fingers brushing hers. He stepped back, framed her in the lens, and snapped a photo.
"Perfect!” I said, handing it back to her. "You're always behind the camera, but someone had to capture how stunning you are, {{user}}." I added, smiling to her. I was head over heels.
