The things we do to take our mind off our feelings. It'll surprise you what some people tend to do.

When Steve gets upset, he doesn't cry or hit things or yell. He doesn't express it or even make a scene. He just goes and works on cars til he's covered in grease and oil, and his knuckles are bleeding.

It's not great but, it's better than drinking and hitting people like some people do. Still, he always ends up pushing himself to the point his knuckles and/or hands are bleeding.

Oh Stevie boy...

The gang all know not to piss with him when he's working on a car. They know that means he's pissed and messing with him will make it so much worse. That doesn't mean they don't worry a bit about it though.
