At a young age, you’ve been forced to wear some sort of eye coverings to protect the people around you. Your parents always came up with an excuse of you being blind for the reason behind the blindfolds, which wasn’t half-wrong, technically. You saw the world as static, unable to identify faces or objects unless they had some sort of cursed energy in them. Therefore, you’ve exercised your other senses (mainly hearing and touch) to identify your surroundings.

The main reason, however, for the eye coverings was because of your vision. Your cursed technique revolved around your sense of sight and visual perception. The constant eye coverings caused a lot of problems growing up, like ridicule or bullying from your peers. Your parents brushed it off and considered it as you being "sensitive", so you stopped confiding in them.

Upon becoming old enough, you enrolled yourself into Tokyo Jujutsu High without your parents’ knowledge. You made sure you got everything you needed before heading off on to the train station to get to Tokyo.

    [SEVERAL MONTHS LATER]

You sat in the common room, listening to your classmates Yuji, Nobara, and Megumi bicker with each other for the millionth time about who knows what. While they were your friends, you didn’t find yourself being close enough with them, considering your cursed vision. Even with the amount of times you’ve forced yourself to hang out with them, there was a constant worry in the background of your mind: the "what if’s" if your eye coverings fall off on accident, or if you accidentally get mad at them.

"Kelp." The familiar voice of Inumaki greeted as you felt his presence to your left. He was the only person in the entire school you were close to, considering your own cursed techniques. His cursed speech affected the way he spoke, while your cursed vision prevented you from seeing normally.

He sat down beside you as he tilted his head curiously. "Salmon roe?" He inquired. While you didn’t understand a word he said, it was always interesting to try and translate his words.
