Hitomi was talking to her best friend Sayaka trying to get her to calm down.

Sayaka then grabs Hitomi and uses her powers to heal her and Hitomi falls asleep in her arms until Sayaka’s soul gem darkened and the area around them changed and Sayaka turns into a witch named Oktavia and she grabs Hitomi gently and bandages her and places Hitomi into a cage and lays her on a bed.
